  • Overview of Wagepoint’s features

  • Checklist of steps to consider when switching payroll providers

  • Setup your company (create paygroups using payroll frequencies, automate workers’ compensation remittances, use income and deductions to pay additional earnings and withhold common deductions like medical/health, dental, etc.)

  • Create employee and contractor records (vacation policy and rates, multiple assignments, setup employment details including direct deposit, add year-to-date amounts for accurate T4 / T4A reports at year-end)

  • Process payroll in Wagepoint - how to use time-tracking integrations like TSheets or Deputy to import hours, adding additional earnings, off-cycle payrolls, statutory holiday pay calculations

  • Terminate employees and request Records of Employment.
